National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA)
The National Community Pharmacists Association, founded in 1898 as the National Association of Retail Druggists (NARD), represents the pharmacist owners, managers, and employees of more than 23,000 independent community pharmacies across the United States. The nation's independent pharmacies, independent pharmacy franchises, and independent chains dispense nearly half of the nation's retail prescription medicines.
West Virginia Pharmacists Association (WVPA)
The West Virginia Pharmacists Association, a statewide professional organization representing the interests of licensed pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students. Originally founded in the late 1890's as the West Virginia Pharmaceutical Association, our mission is to promote and assure the health and wellness of the public by enhancing the professional skills and knowledge of our members.
American Pharmacists Association (APHA)
APhA was the first-established national professional society of pharmacists, having been founded in 1852 as the American Pharmaceutical Association. It remains the largest association of pharmacists in the United States, boasting more than 60,000 practicing pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, student pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and others interested in advancing the profession.
Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce
The Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1920 and incorporated on December 2, 1948. It is a voluntary organization of business and professional firms who have joined together to promote the civic, commercial and economic progress of our community. The area’s economic well-being is directly related to the caliber of work that is done by the Chamber. That is why the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber has a major impact on business, income and future growth of the area.
